Segways on the Bike Path?

The Parks & Recreation Commission is considering a proposal by 802 Segways, Inc to provide guided Segway tours on the Burlington Bike Path. The Commission is soliciting public comment and input on this proposal, and, more generally, on the use of this type of vehicle on the bike path. The public hearing will be held at the next Commission meeting, Tuesday, November 17 at 5:30pm at the Parks & Recreation Offices, 645 Pine Street.
