Project Partners
The Burlington Livable Community Project (BLCP) is itself a living entity - its team of contributors growing and changing as needs are identified, actions are undertaken, and as resources and services for Burlington's older residents are ultimately expanded. During the first year of BLCP, approximately thirty organizations participated in a strategic planning process, assessing the current situation, learning about new options for community building, designing ways of collaborating and working more effectively toward common goals in the areas of housing, mobility and accessibility, and community engagement, and prioritizing an annual collaborative work plan.
